A first of its kind three-day international conference intent on problematising and reconceptualising the non-fiction writings of James Joyce. The MHRA and the York HRC have generously contributed financial support for the conference, which will take place in the modern research space of the University of York's Humanities Research Centre. The exciting programme will feature keynote lectures by John McCourt, Emer Nolan and Kevin Barry, together with delegates ranging from MA students to seasoned academics, including Hans Walter Gabler, Terence Killeen, Luca Crispi and Geert Lernout.
There will a vibrant social programme, including a conference dinner and organized events (to be announced), which will provide the perfect opportunity for networking and socialising (as only Joyceans know how).
Registration and bookings for the conference dinner will be available shortly, as will information about accommodation.
Scholarships are available for deserving participants.
